Almost every other audio connector are made of brass or a bronze/phosphor alloy, with a conductivity under the 28% IACS (International Annealed Copper Standard)

 

For example, the high purity copper (OFC), used in the almost every interconnection cable have a conductivity value of 100% IACS.

 

This products is radically different, since it is produced from a high purity Tellurium Copper (more than 98% IACS) so it can assure a maximum conductivity (allowing a wining of 320%).

 

To guarantee scratch resistance, and keep an optimal conductivity, these inlets are nickel plated a thickness less than half, while compared to the standard which explains the less smooth surface finish.

We finish with a 5µ Gold plating.
